These are my favorite pen of all time Oct 15, 2009
By Grendel I discovered these in the 1980's, and they have been my favorite since then. I like that the lines are very thin-if you wanted to write small, you could really fit a lot onto a single piece of paper.
Also, it takes very little effort to write with these. Contrast to the cheap pens that you buy at the supermarket. My only dilemma is what to do with the other 11 pens that came in the box! I don't want them to dry out over years of storage.
Am thinking about giving one at a time away to people that I come across - but not the type of person who would be careless enough to lose or simply not appreciate a fine pen.

Write great but smudge Aug 31, 2009

I love UNIBALL pens. (Their blue ink is my favorite shade of blue).
They have a fine point tip which is great both for journaling and for doodling/ drawing illustrations.
On the down side, the ink is super juicy so they smudge considerably which means you need to be careful when using them, or your paper pad and fingers will get very inky...

They do the job, but not smoothly Feb 25, 2011
By ashleyo2424 These pens work great, but then suddenly the ink goes dry and I have to readjust my angle to get it flowing again. I am disappointed but they still write, just not as smoothly as I'd hoped.

Good basic pen Nov 04, 2007
By M. Jorgensen My husband loves pens, and he picked these as his favorite basic pen. He can have a couple at work, a couple on his desk at home, enjoy using them but not worry if he loses them. He has his fancier pens that he loves, but this is his favorite all-purpose pen.

Great Pens Jan 04, 2011
By freqshopper These pens are a little pricey but they write great. I used to use the "clicking" pens with the retractable points, but as I am literally writing all day long I found those pens tend to break. The uni-ball retractable pens would just fall apart after a while and I could never get them to hold together once that happened, making them a huge waste of money. These pens work well, and they're a bit more comfortable to hold as they're longer (once the cap is stuck on the end). I would give 5 stars if they were cheaper.
