5Careful, your co-workers and classmates will try to steal it  Jan 06, 2010 By lin
I'm assuming if you are searching for a 12pk of these pens on amazon, you are already a fan. On the off chance you are not, let me say my piece.

I am very particular about my pens. I was (and still am) a huge TUL fan, but I borrowed a few of the Signo pens from my roommate and was pleasantly surprised. It has comparable if not better quality for a good price. I actually smile whenever I first start writing. It is that satisfying. Just about everyone who borrows it to jot down a note can't help but say, "This is a REALLY nice pen!"

One of the first tests I do with a pen is write quickly and see if the ink skips out on any areas. The Signos perform flawlessly. The next test is to see if it oozes too much ink or smears. I write in a very small and fine hand, so this is a common problem for me. Again, the micro point Signos do not disappoint. I never go anywhere without one clipped to my collar or pocket.

UPDATE:
Some reviews said this was the wrong pen, and I think the pictures are causing confusion. I just wanted to confirm that I have ordered pens directly from this Amazon page and got the correct item. You are getting the 207 micro point (0.5mm), with gold lettering, and a solid silver barrel at the tip. The first picture of the product box is correct, the second image that has just a single pen is not correct.

As for how long the ink lasts, I've honestly never noticed because by the time they do run out, I've forgotten when I first bought them. If I had to make an estimate, I'd say at least 4 months with moderate/heavy usage as a full-time student. Obviously user experience will vary, but I've used these pens for a long time now, and I'd say that's average. If yours ran out much sooner, I'd say you either got a dud, or are a very heavy user.

5Great Pen  Jul 09, 2008 By J. Hollerith
This pen has an extra fine point (.5mm), which I love. It always leaves crisp clean lines when writing. I tend to find when using pens with thicker points that they can leave smudgy looking lines. This is the only pen I will be using from now on.

5My fave  Jul 26, 2009 By Pen Name
This is my favorite pen ever. My job involves lots of writing, and I have small handwriting. This pen never smears for me and makes nice thin lines. The pen also writes extremely smoothly. I have been using this pen exclusively for the last year.

For anyone interested in the pen instead of shipping issues, the pen is great. It has an extra fine point (.5mm), which I love. It always leaves crisp clean lines when writing. I tend to find when using pens with thicker points that they can leave smudgy looking lines.

5The ONLY PENS I use anymore...  Jul 15, 2010 By Laurie K.
I am picky when it comes to writing utensils. I do not like using black ink, I am a blue ink user and quite frankly I find it difficult to find a GOOD PEN that writes in blue.... this pen, of course being a Uniball does about say it all... the Micro Fine tip is PERFECT and the ink flows (or gel) flawlessly and they last and last. The worst part about the pen is me... taking them all over and misplacing them.. they don't wear out, I just have so many in so many places my supply had dropped off.... I've got a new box now and red as well :)

Thanks Uniball!
