I have been using Wahl electric razor for over 10 years. The foils and blades last a long time. However eventually the do have to be replaced.

THIS LITTLE SHAVER WORKS EXCELLENT! I don't have any issues with "bumps" or easy skin irritation when using this product (see below). This shaver removes ALL hair on the neck line and finishes a fade with excellent closeness! As long as the hair is no more than a few days old it will work extremely well. If longer hair it may work, but will make this shaver work too hard and wear the blades out quickly.
I use this product for my neck-line.
Pros: Shaves close, has a strong motor, holds a charge for 10 or more uses.
Cons: if you return to an area more than a few times, it will irritate any type of skin. The shaver is built with a bi-level foil which takes a bit getting used to. This shaver is loud.

By Phil I own the burgundy Wahl shavers and out of nowhere the gold foil shield of the shaver became unfastened and ripped. I was worried that I may have to spend another $50 or more on a new shaver until I randomly gave Amazon.com a search attempt. To my surprise I found this set and was able to replace my foil shaver head at a fraction of the cost of a new one! The delivery was quicker than what I expected and the product fits my shaver perfectly! Great experience with the seller! Definitely a lifesaver because I need to shave everyday!!!
