5Perfect Paper  May 23, 2009 By D. Wayne Dworsky
I have looked all over for this paper. Office Max used to carry it. It is not to be found in Staples. Thank God for Amazon! 8 1/2" by 11" paper is the preferred paper for writers simply because of its size and college rule. It fits very nicely when interspersed with standard 8 1/2" by 11" paper for printing applications. Think how awkward it would be to try to include inserts of your manuscript with 8" by 10 1/2" standard school ruled loose leaf paper. It's a no-brainer.

The 500 sheet size makes it very desireable for those who compose in long-hand and in volume. It's hard to imagine how one can compose without the benefit of consistent paper size. I don't mind paying the little premium for this kind of paper. We live in a competive world and having an additional comfort makes life much easier.

5Thin, but not "bible paper" flimsy.  Jan 03, 2011 By Christian Pursell
Good paper, albeit expensive. It's not heavyweight like I thought it would be, but seems thicker than other cheap papers you might find. Pencils and pens write well and shouldn't tear.

5Paper like it was in the "good old days"  Sep 14, 2011 By Nancy Rector "Author of A Painful Truth - The Entrapment of America's Sick"
Ok that title dated me... but seriously... the notebook paper you typically buy now is horrible. The lines are fuzzy and faded, the paper is thin. Just looks awful. This paper is pricey, yes. But its wonderful quality. Studier and with nice, clean clear lines. Like they used to make it years back before everything was cheapened in the name of profit.

3Good but not great  Sep 12, 2011 By Retired Guy "CooksALot"
I purchased this paper based on the reviews that led me to believe it is far superior to other thinner papers. The exact letter size is an important consideration one that I wouldn't have known without the knowledge of these reviews.

However beside that I wouldn't consider this paper superior to others I have used. If you need noticably heavier paper try the 20#.

5Best paper ever!  Apr 24, 2011 By Jonathan Wang
Paper is often an undervalued when it comes to shopping for school, but make no mistake, this paper far surpasses the generic paper you get at your local OfficeMax or Staples. It is full letter size, which basically means that it is the same size as regular printer paper. Some college rule paper is actually smaller than the printer paper, which makes it awkward when you are trying to line up the holes and staple them together. Some cheaper paper also rips very easily and can't hold up well to erasing. Another fault of cheap paper is that the ink used to print the lines is actually water soluble, and they will bleed all over the page if it comes into contact with even a small amount of water. This paper has none of those faults! It is strong, durable, regular size, and the ink does not bleed. Also, it comes in 500 sheet packages, which I prefer to the 200 sheet ones because it takes longer to run out obviously. This is probably the best college rule paper available on Amazon.
