This is a personal item, and every body will have their own take.
Good fragrance that lasts really long. I like this from the other Polo's (Green and Blue)as this is more milder
TIP: Buy this from your local 'Macy's' they have a gift set for the same price($65/-) which includes a free polo explorer(4.2oz) after shave.

This is an incredible new scent from Ralph Lauren. It is as intoxicating as Polo Black but with a more casual style. There is a very strong note of rich northern amber in this scent, but then there is a also a brighter, cleaner note that practically clears the sinuses and that makes you feel like you are in the tropics. Wearing this cologne makes me feel like I have a well-worn passport in my pocket.

Polo Explorer is a very unique scent, and lasts longer than most EDTs that I own. However, for the 1st hour, I can't shake the similarity to Off. Once it dries down, it does evolve into a pretty decent and unique scent though, so it may suit many people quite well.
The name is appropriate - Polo Explorer does smell like something you would wear to go exploring - and you wouldn't have to worry about mosquitoes while you are out there.

Was skeptical as to the authenticity of this product as there are many knock offs of fragrances. This was as advertised - the Ralph Lauren Polo Explorer that I like so much.
