Worked well in my case. Dec 15, 2010
By Heidi M. Derry About two years ago I use Permatex Spray & Seal to stop a leak in a polypropylene auto window washer bottle and an oil leak from a plug in a Saab turbo engine valve cover. So far neither has leaked.

Did not work for me Nov 13, 2010
By Igor S. I used the product to stop a slow transmission leak (the main gasket had a problem on the top of Honda Accord automatic transmission with no moving parts involved). Called the company and asked if it would be appropriate to use the product for such an application and they said yes. Cleaned the surface thoroughly with break cleaner and otherwise used as directed. The leak stopped initially but was back in a couple of weeks. Apparently the seal did not hold.

Not So Satisfied Oct 01, 2011
By Joseph Jones When trans cover heated up, the sealant melted right off, I dont't recommend for heated use, poor spray head as well - this stuff is really messy, don't expect to end up with a neat job with nice thin layers of coating, it blasts out of can.

Ok but not the best Aug 16, 2011
By Jeff N. French I was hoping that Permatex would plug a very tiny leak in a drain, but it did not help. I followed the directions, re-applied Permatex and still have my tiny leak. Would not recommend this product!
