5The People at Pentel are Gods  Jan 13, 2005 By bachrock
This is one hell of a mechanical pencil. I would pay 10 times this much for it. I've tried other brands, but they just end up in the trash. This is only mechanical pencil you will ever need.

5My favorite pencil  Jul 03, 2006 By Wesley Erck "Wesley Erck"
This has been my favorite pencil for years. It's durable and reliable. They used to come with a wire in the eraser to remove jammed leads, but I've never had a jammed lead with this pencil. The grip is a bit firm, but the cushier kinds are more bulky. The only problem is that I lose them or people "borrow" them, so I now buy them by the dozen!

4Good pencil  Feb 13, 2005 By Wolfman
I've gotten pretty fed up with the el cheapo mechanical pencils, you know, the 5-pack cheap plastic kind that last for a couple of weeks of heavy use and break. So I picked up this pencil and have been pretty happy with it. It's well built and writes smoothly; the mechanical portions seem well built. The only complaint I have is that it's a little less comfortable than I would like--the grip area is a little harsh.

Overall, would recommend.

5Good Value  Nov 10, 2011 By Lawrence Wegeman, Jr.
This mechanical pencil comes with about eight pieces of 0.7mm lead, loaded and ready to start writing. It is weighty enough to feel comfortable.

5Best pencils I have ever used  Oct 06, 2011 By SEH
I have spent over 50 years at engineering drafting, design and detail checking of other's drawings. This pencil is the very best I have ever found over the years. I lost the last one, I still don't know how and I couldn't wait to get a replacement. No matter what kind of drawing, or writing you are doing, you will find this pencil easy to use. You can have the hardness and/or the color of lead you want and I have hardly ever found a pencil eraser that works as well as the ones on the Pentel pencils. All sizes are excellent and they are very reliable. And Amazon's delivery system get them to you very fast. Get some today.
