1Deceptive Offering  Mar 24, 2012 By Peter J.
The index cards are fine. They are just as good as any you buy in a stationery store. I bought these index cards based on the listing shown as "Oxford Ruled Index Cards, 3 x 5 Inches, White, 10 pack of 100 (31)" on March 19, 2012. I should have received 1000 index cards, right? No, I received only 100 cards. The index cards were sold by Direct Liquidations. I called Amazon, even the Amazon representative said I should have received 1000 index cards. I told him I wanted to return the items. He told me to just keep it at no charge and he credited my account for the $4.79. This is deceptive advertising. Beware what you buy here.... I must say that Amazon was fair in crediting the full amount I paid. When in doubt on the item or if it looks too good to be true, it probably is. As of March 26, 2012 A.M., the product listing still has not been corrected. Listing has been corrected on March 26, 2012 P.M. For 100 index cards......... way too expensive. Go to the $1.00 Store. Amazon marketplace vendor BuyBizSupplies is a very honorable business. I brought this to their attention and they told me they would honor the quantity and the price. I receieved 10 packs of 100 index cards for $2.00+$3.29 shipping. Thank you BuyBizSupplies. END OF SUBJECT.

1The cards are fine  Mar 23, 2012 By James Gawley
The problem is that there are only 100 of them. The listing says describes "10 pack [sic] of 100" but all I received was one pack of 100. I just paid five dollars for a hundred cards. This is the product page I bought from:

4Nice Basic Index Card, Great With Fountain Pens  Oct 05, 2010 By O. Brown "Ms. O. Khannah-Brown"
****
I am looking for the best index cards available, and in the process tried these out. These are officially called "Oxford Esselte Pendaflex"; in some places they are only called by one or two of these labels, but they are all the same card. They are much more expensive than others, so I had high hopes for them.

PRO: These cards are absolutely fabulous for fountain pens. No feathering, no deep absorption (with subsequent widening) of line of ink into the paper. My work involves exclusively fountain pens, and it is hard to find a card to accommodate them. The surface of the card is not coated, so it works with any type of pen or marker, and I am delighted with this.

CON: The cards are not as thick as I'd hoped. They are not flimsy, just thinner than other index cards. I couldn't find any info about whether or not they yellow with age, so I think they probably do.

I think that these are still pretty good index cards and if you don't mind that they are a tad thin, you will be pleased.

Recommended.

5Not top quality but does the job  Jan 06, 2012 By Book Flame
If your looking for top quality index cards these are not it by far. These are flimsy and not thick at all. I bought these to help my kids learn sight words so quality isn't something I was concerned about but they do the job just fine for what I need it for.

5What can i say?  Feb 24, 2012 By Thomas M. Taylor "runman"
These are nice index cards, but a little on the thin side, but for the price that i paid, i cannot complain. The delivery was prompt and they were shipped 2 day via my prime membership. Thanks Amazon.
