 expansion pak for nintendo 64 May 29, 2007

I couldn't find this product in any gaming store so I was really happy to find it here. The seller was very responsive (I had a question about the shipping and they got back to me immediately after I sent my email to them) and the item arrived quickly. I needed the expansion pak to play Donkey Kong on my Nintendo 64. Another seller suggested using the controller pak to expand the memory but this does not work. Def need the expansion pak.

I have used many expansion packs and they all have failed miserably. They can cause issues from crashing to loading problems. The only expansion pack that works without issues is the Nintendo brand expansion pack.

The pack I received has an orange top, but I don't truly care. Just warning you out there who might. It came in what seems to be the original box, and is fully functional. I've used it for about a month of solid gaming, and it's still running strong.
To those of you who don't know, certain games actually require this pack to run. Two of my favourites are included in this category: Banjo Kazooee and Majora's Mask. If you're thinking of buying this for a retro gaming spree or for a retro gamer, keep in mind which games they'll be playing! This may actually be needed. Also, it improves the looks of games that can be run without it, so even if they aren't playing games that need it, it always shows the benefit it's providing.

The expansion pak enables Nintendo64 to play newer and more advanced games. Some of which requires an expansion pak to be able to play them.
