I received my lamp,so excited I was to open it and see all the beautiful colors of glass triangle shaped pane.I held the star up to the light buy the top semi attached ring,that u use to hang the item.I LOOKED CLOSER and noticed the little ball holding the ring to the star was hanging by a tiny piece of metal that was loose and I saw white glue that was put there.I was not going to hang this.I had planned to hang it in my living room...It would have snapped and fallen on someones head or it would have crashed on the coffee table and shattered and glass could have taken out someones eye....so as crafty as I am, I put a string through the little space under the broken hoop,right in the space above the glass pane,but under the pointed metal thingy attached to the hook....I paid $13 a very good deal,( I just wish the seller would have warned me of the looose metal) for it and I didn't want to pay for shipping so I will keep it...any way It is hanging beautifully in the living room in a spot that catches the sun light....thanks to my quick fix...

I couldn't wait to open my lantern and put it with my other star collection. It was in great condition and i think i will order a couple more for gifts!

The Gift Warehouse was extremely prompt in getting this item out to me- in fact, it was scheduled to reach me Oct. 19th, and reached me Oct. 14th! It was well-packaged. The only minor complaint I would have is that the item looked more purpley blue in the picture- I did not realize that it was multi-color. (red, green and yellow glass, in addition to the purpley blue) When it is not lit, this is not a big deal, and truthfully, were it a big deal, I would have returned it. It totally complements the other two red glass star lanterns that I have mounted in my Moroccan inspired bedroom. Thank you!

Shipped pretty quick and once it got here, super pleased! Good sized especially for the price! I've read some complaints about the colors, but I think its pretty much like the picture. So excited that I bought this since it's so cute!

This item looks very different in person than compared to the photo on the website. The photo on the website makes it look as if it's jewel tones when in reality the glass is primary colored.
The opening to insert a candle does not secure well and I fear will flap about.
I had intended this to hang outside my front door but the colors will clash badly with my house paint.
