Best towel ever. May 27, 2007
By ep4me I have tried just about every drying product out there and always ended up back with my old bath towels (cotten of course) until I came across this towel. Excellent absorbsion. It takes only one towel to do the whole car, does not leave streaks. I usually use 2 or 3 bath towels. I first use the California blade then this towel. I stocked up on them because they are hard to find around here. Nothing else compares.

Works Well Oct 14, 2009

This towel really can absorb a lot of water similar to a chamois, yet is easier to wring out. Using just one towel I had to wring it out numerous times to dry the entire car (water was really beaded up), and once wet it does leave a slight bit of moisture behind...not enough to spot though. Best thing, it doesn't leave any lint on the surface of the car like a terry towel. Only complaint is that it could be a bit larger.

Excellent drying towel! Apr 09, 2011

While I don't necessary condone drying cars with a towel (micro-marring, even with microfiber), this is an awesome one that should (for the most part) keep your car safe from any debris that might be left on there as you dry. Remember to blot not swipe! Wring out the towel often and visually and physically inspect for dirt and debris. I usually wash after a use and keep it in a sealed (clean) 5 gallon bucket so no dirt/debris gets in. You will inevitably have to wring this out a couple times while drying a car, but that can't be a negative? You want a towel twice the size go for it - but you'll be touching that to the ground or wheel or something else accidentally drawing up some dirt with it. The size and functionality of this is perfect, I highly recommend this product.

Lives up to its Name! Feb 06, 2007
By Looking for sales The Meguiars water magnet lives up to its name. It dries great and does not scratch. Make sure to wash the car with a brush before drying to get all the dirt off, simple powerwashing will not remove all dirt. Do not use one of those california water blades, sand and dirt particles get swiped across the side and leave tons of tiny scrathes.

Good towel, but that is it. Mar 13, 2009
By Marco A. De Llano The towel doesn't feel like a high quality product: it isn't. When I received it, the material does feel a little cheap, but it does what it says: sucks water off your car.
It is a very thin towel, so when I'm going to rinse my car I first use a microfiber that is thick enough to remove excess water from my Smart and then dry the remaining with the Meguiar's (if you have a bigger car then 1 of this would not be enough, at least 2 or 3). This towel doesn't leave any streaks or spots, but again, been too thin makes it useless if you don't have a dozen or maybe use it like I just explained.
A good product, but not a marvel. I'm pretty sure there are much better products and bigger towels that are as absorbant or more than this one.
