You can get a similar spring with the exact same load capacity at any large hardware store(Home Depot, Lowes) foar around $5.

I purchased this Spring for my Hammock Chair I ordered not knowing the rack for the chair is perfectly set to a proper height from the ground, thus using the spring would cause me to sag in the hammock chair and drag on the ground.
Please note this for anyone purchasing a rack mount for a hammock chair. The Spring would be great if I hard mounted the chair otherwise.

I ordered this at the same time I ordered my hanging chair and stand because it was featured alongside those and similar items. But it was totally unnecessary, as the stand has a hook already. This spring is huge, about nine inches long, and were I to use it, I'd have to extend the frame three more notches. Don't waste your money until you have your hanging chair and stand and KNOW you really need it. If you need it, it looks very strong.

The swing chair spring is wonderful! The chair is much more comfortable to enter, exit and relax in because of it.

Not sure this adds a whole lot but the kids like it and it is comfortable to get in and out of the swing.
