Disclaimer: I bought this product direct from the manufacturer Ectaco.
I have purchased this dictionary direct from the company - first mistake - they have pretty tough return policy. It was a gift for my parents who is starter English learners. Big frustration.... the screen is very dark. Don't be mistaken by the picture where it looks nice white and contrast. Voice and pronunciation you can barely recognize, my son's toy robot for 20 bucks speaks more clear. The guy from customer service told it is an old model. Don't sell it then or make a description the people will understand they are buying old crap. Free advice: for this money (or a bit more) buy an Ipod touch, there are plenty of applications - dictionaries, don't require Internet connection, it cost 5-10 dollars. I am sorry I didn't make this little research before I spent my money.
