5Save on filters--use this ring!  Mar 14, 2012 By T.G. Lewis
Just bought a Nikon D7000 two-lens kit. One lens wears a 67mm filter, the other a 58mm. I shoot a fishing show, so I need a circular polarizer anytime I'm working. Got a really nice Marumi 67mm cp, and use this well-made step-up ring to use it on the lens that takes a 58mm filter. It's a bit more work in the field, but money being what it is nowadays...

One small hint on fitting filters in general: Threads can be balky, especially on larger sizes, and to prevent lock-up, I always take a Q-tip, put a single teeny drop of lightweight oil (even wd40 would work) on the end of it, and gently and carefully swab the threads before fitting the filter to the lens (DO NOT put the oil on the threads themselves!!). Snug the filter juuust enough to keep from rotating on it's own, and no more frozen-in-place filters.

4Does the job, could use more threads on the 58MM side.  Jan 05, 2012 By MikeDVB
This step-up ring does work well on my Canon 50MM f/1.4 so I can put my 67MM Hoya Circular Polarizer on it. The only thing I wish is that it had slightly more threads on the 58mm side - when looking at it - it looks as though it only has one thread which does concern me a bit.

5Fits perfectly my camera. It is decent quality for a price.  Oct 05, 2011 By Zorro "Ok"
Fits the camera and filters fine. Decent quality for a price. Threads on the adapter are OK and smooth. That's all.

5Good product  Aug 27, 2011 By fisherbln
Seems to be decent quality and saves me from needing another expensive polarizer lens. Couldn't ask for anything more! Obviously, make sure you order the correct size for your camera and filter.

5YES  Oct 15, 2010 By WILLIAM MCLEAN "Just My Honest Opinion . . ."
It is the simple accessory as advertised, and it is of good quality. Got mine to adept a ring flash (67mm)to lenses with 58mm front threading.
