Wow Feb 14, 2009

I wasn't expecting this stuff to be very effective. I have a pair of jeans I really like that were patched/reinforced (on the inside) with iron-on stuff. After several washings, the patches were coming loose, but the fabri-tac really glued them back down tight. The jeans have been through the wash a couple of times now and the patches are holding-up well. I also have a big cushion for an teak outdoor loveseat. The stitching was rotting and the whole thing was coming apart. It took several days of gluing different sections, but I was able to put it all back together again. The new seams are a bit stiff, but they're very strong. I used very little of the product for these two jobs. I'm impressed.

I make purses, and this product is the best and safest I have found. It grabs and holds wherever it is needed.

Fabro-Tac Jul 11, 2010
By Maggie Carter I have been a "crafter"-"sewer" for over 60 years and this is my favorite item in my sewing basket!!! It dries flexible, clear and launders well. It tack fabric together instantly but will pull apart, to readjust, if needed. MAC

Fast drying and surprisingly permanent Jun 16, 2010
By Angela T This fabric glue is the best I've ever found. I've tried a couple of others and haven't been pleased with the results because they don't stand up to washing and start peeling off far too soon. The fabri-tac does actually seem to be permanent or as permanent as a fabric glue is going to get. I even used it to install zippers on the pockets of several jumper dresses and they are all still holding up after multiple times through the wash. The only thing negative is that it can come out of the bottle in globs and it dries extremely fast so it's very important to be quite speedy and precise when using it so I probably wouldn't recommend it for childrens crafts or similar uses.

Not what I expected May 17, 2011
By Stay at home Mom After reading the other reviews, I was expecting a kind of "super glue" that worked on fabric. This adhesive may work fine if you are already planning to sew the fabric after using the adhesive. I was hoping for an adhesive that would hold patches on clothing without sewing. This adhesive did not work that way. Any fabrics that I glued together pulled back apart relatively easily. I'm sure it's a good adhesive to hold fabric while you are sewing it, but it didn't work for my purposes.
