It won't change color, leave staines on your body, and it does not require any maintenance to keep it looking brand new. In fact, it is so good at resisting fade, rust and corrosion, that this grade of steel is often used in marine environments and since it is nickel free it is also used in surgical procedures. | | | |

316L Stainless Steel Ring 8mm Jan 24, 2009
By D. Pham Pros: - Inexpensive - Nice design
Cons: - Uncomfortable - Scratches and nicks easily - Cheap material - Flat, sharp edge scratches and irritates other fingers - Flat edges collect dirt
Thoughts: You get what you pay for. This is no exception. I still have this ring, but I don't wear it. I wore it for about a week until I got tired with it. I actually went and got a tungsten carbide ring of the same size (10) to replace this one and the new ring fits way better. Bother are the same width, 8mms. I've been using the new tungsten carbide ring ever since.
Having beveled edges and a better design makes all the difference. The ring shown here has a nice looking design, but in function that flat sharp edge does wonders at scratching and irritating. The material used is not very strong. It is only a small step up from aluminum. Save the trouble and get a tungsten carbine/titanium ring if this is your style.
Bottom line: Not Recommended.
AMAZING Deal! Sep 01, 2010
By Alexandra Bonds My boyfriend absolutely adores this ring. It's perfect for him and fits great. Being stainless steel it does scratch easier than most, so probably not the best ring to wear for heavy duty work, but other than that it's amazing! And a steal for the price!
Not exactly what I expected Jul 20, 2009
By B. Anderson Ring is only about 7 mm wide instead of 8, which was dissapointing coming from a Tungsten 8mm that I had. It is somewhat sharp on the edges, but only moderately uncomfortable for me, and I still wear it. Also, at least in the larger sizes, it seems thinner than what appears in the picture and the ridge is hardly pronounced at all. Overall, not bad for the price, but not exactly what I expected from the picture and description.
